If you book accommodation through our website, we need to collect personal information about you, including your name, address and telephone number. The main reason we need this information is to reserve and book the accommodation for you and to contact you in the case of a cancellation or to notify change of details. We also need some of this information in order to process your payment (when you pay by credit card online). Unless you tell us otherwise, we may use personal information about you for marketing and research purposes. 

We will also collect personal information about you via this site if you send us an email via this site. 

If you do nothing during your visit but browse through the website or read the pages then our website will automatically record some information about your visit to the site. The type of information that will be collected includes the type of web browser and operating system that you are using, the date and time of visit to the site and the web pages that you accessed. If you linked to our site from another site then that information will also be recorded. We may use this information for statistical analysis but the system does not record personal information about individuals unless you volunteer it.

We may use your email address for the purpose for which you provide it. We may also use your email address to confirm receipt of emails sent to us and to confirm bookings made on our website. 

We will not use personal information about you for any other purpose, without first obtaining your consent.

Unless we are required to provide your information to others for purposes of public safety and law enforcement, your information will only be seen or used by persons working at or for Accom Whitsunday or our contracted service providers. 

How do we keep your personal information secure? 

We will take reasonable steps to ensure the security of any information you provide to us. Any personal information we collect is stored in a secure environment accessed only by persons working at or for Beach Plaza and our contracted service providers. 

All online payments are processed by  RMS and customer databases are hosted on highly available and scalable Azure SQL Servers. Data is encrypted at rest using Azure Disk Encryption.

However, the open nature of the Internet is such that information exchanged via the Internet may be accessed and used by people other than those for whom the data is intended. If you send us any information, including your email address, it is sent at your own risk, as it may not necessarily be secure against interception. 

Accessing and checking the personal information we hold about you. 

We will take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we collect from or about you is accurate, complete and up to date whenever it is used, collected or disclosed. You are entitled to access your information if you wish and subject to any legal restrictions, we would be happy to advise you what personal information we hold about you if you request this. 

We rely on the accuracy of the information you provide us. If you think that we may hold information about you that is incorrect in any way, please contact us and we will correct any errors or inaccuracies where required. 

If at any time you wish to know what information we are holding about you, you are welcome to request your details by contacting us.

Frequently Asked Questions

If travelling by car, there is one car space per unit.

The driveway to the underground garage is located in-between Eastwoods Restaurant and Whitsunday Seafood Bar (see photo). The code for the garage door will be provided in your welcome letter. Please be aware there is a height limit of 1.8m. Please park in the middle block of car spaces, around the outside is private parking. Walk back up the ramp to the main street and turn right. Enter the Beach Plaza main entrance.

On-street parking is not provided or guaranteed for guests or visitors. Beach Plaza Accommodation cannot be held responsible or liable for any fines or penalties incurred by guests or visitors from parking on the street (where local parking restrictions/metered parking applies).

Self Check-In

Upon arrival, please make your way up the main stairs (see photo) in Beach Plaza to your allocated room. Guests will be provided with details room access codes via email approximately 30 minutes prior to check in (2pm), provided full payment has been made. Guests are requested to take this access information with them in order to access the room. Should you need any assistance, please don't hesitate to call us at 1800 466 600.

  • Check in is from 2:00 PM
  • Check out is by 10:00 AM

Please note that there is no reception at the complex. If you require anything, please call us on 1800 466 600.

If you would like to book airport transfers from Proserpine Whitsunday Coast Airport to Beach Plaza Airlie Beach, please complete the airport transfers section of your booking confirmation and return to us ASAP.

The transfer will be charged to the credit card you supplied to us in your online booking form. 

Pricing (current at August 2024):

  • Per adult - $36 return
  • Per child - $22 return

Cancellations within 7 days of arrival will result in 100% loss of all monies paid.

If final payment is not received within 7 days of arrival, the booking will automatically be cancelled and result in loss of monies paid.
